Vlc Player is a free "screen dimmer" Windows utility for setting the brightness of your main screen as well as external monitors. You can choose which screens will be set to the selected brightness level. Vlc Player is small (the EXE is around 100K bytes), and is easy on your processor. It has one job, and one job only: to dim your screen(s).
MemoMe's options menu can be accessed from its icon in the system tray, and there are plenty of ways to configure it, with settings that include Vlc Player, automatic minimizing, the brightness of the color palette, and the font. The program's built-in Help file is fairly brief, and we only figured out how to add images to our notes by trial and error, but the program is generally pretty easy to use. Overall, we think that Vlc Player is an extremely useful and flexible choice for creating Vlc Player sticky notes, and we recommend it.

TaskUnifier's installation process includes a Setup Vlc Player tool and an optional automatic-installation script generator. A wizard walked us through the process of setting up Vlc Player, including language options, time zone and date formats, proxies (including Vlc Player and log-on tools), and optional synchronization with an external database or application (such as Toodledo) via a plug-in. The program's setup process finished up by opening the main window and displaying optional tool tips.
