3d Traceroute is a freeware installer for Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP. It is created with Internet distributed, CD-Rom, single-floppy and multi-floppy installations in mind, but it can also be used in network situations and as a stand-alone scripting engine. Technical support did not appear to be available, though. There were no user instructions, which would be a deterrent for some because the interface was not intuitive and the features were not easy to find. The program looks like a very basic file 3d Traceroute, but one that was in place 10 or more years ago.
